NAIOP SOUTH FLORIDA CHAPTER

Welcome to NAIOP South Florida Chapter. We are the largest Chapter in the State of Florida. Currently we have about 350 members representing constituents primarily in the Miami-Dade, Broward-Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach-West Palm Beach area, however we do have a few members in Martin and St. Lucie Counties. Our Chapter is the premier commercial real estate development organization in the South Florida area , focusing on making business connections, educational programs and legislative efforts. 

For those who make their living within the South Florida commercial real estate industry, NAIOP has become a major resource for networking, educational programs, workshops and special events that elevate the level of professional expertise. Each year, the South Florida Chapter plans bus tours showcasing the latest commercial real estate projects by sub-markets in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties. There is a focus on legislative issues that affect the commercial real estate industry. Our NAIOP SFL Chapter recognizes the best of the best in our business with our annual "Awards of Excellence” event, celebrating projects and peers.

We provide monthly events with expert speakers or forum panels, addressing solutions to issues vital to our commercial industry. We foster the education of the real estate professional by offering special courses of study in those areas that impact the industry (Development, Brokerage, Capital Markets, Financial Analysis, Legal aspects of the real estate contract, etc.).

Our Chapter, along with the other NAIOP Chapters in Florida, supports our statewide organization (NAIOP of Florida, Inc.) which has full-time representation at the Florida State Capitol in Tallahassee. Our lobbyist and member involvement are continually involved in legislation and initiatives that impact our industry. NAIOP South Florida is considered by local government authorities as the leading resource for commercial real estate information.

Our Annual Charity Golf Tournament has contributed thousands of dollars to local charitable organizations from its net proceeds.We make it easy to participate in chapter events by creating user-friendly registration opportunities. Our website features a complete guide to local activities as well as "member only" and “gemstone appreciation” committee meetings and social activities, which offer a diverse and unique networking opportunity.
