Historic Stranahan House Museum Welcomes New Board Members Lane Hacker and LaurieAnne Minoff  

 

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (July 8, 2019) – The Historic Stranahan House Museum has announced the appointment of two new board members, Miller Construction Company Controller Lane Hacker, CPA and Keller Williams Residential Realtor Associate LaurieAnne Minoff.

 

Lane Hacker

Lane Hacker serves as controller for Miller Construction Company and is responsible for financial reporting and records, budget management and risk mitigation. A Certified Public Accountant, Hacker is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and serves as treasurer of the South Florida chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association. He is also a member of the Leadership Team of Emerge Broward. Previously, Hacker served as a senior audit associate at Grant Thornton, LLP, where he led audit teams in the commercial real estate, banking and technology sectors. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Accounting degrees from the University of Florida and currently resides in Fort Lauderdale.

 

LaurieAnne Minoff

LaurieAnne Minoff is a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty Professionals in Fort Lauderdale. She has worked as a fiduciary agent of residential real estate transactions in various capacities. This comes as a second career after two decades of being an involved stay-at-home mom to her three children. During that time, Minoff received her bachelor’s degree in public administration and a minor in non-profit management from Florida Atlantic University. She also received an associate’s degree in psychology with honors from Broward College.

Minoff is an active and philanthropic member of the community and donates her time to the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale, South Florida Red Cross, Broward Partnership for the Homeless, Junior Achievement of South Florida, 211 Broward, United Way’s Women United, Kids in Distress, Guardian ad Litem Broward, Fort Lauderdale Women’s Club, Jewish Federation of Broward, Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale, Debbie’s Dream Foundation and the American Cancer Society. Minoff also serves as marketing VP for the Junior League of Fort Lauderdale, trustee for the Realtor Association of Fort Lauderdale, trustee member of Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale and community volunteer leader for the Red Cross. She was recently recognized with a leadership award for her work with the South Florida Red Cross.

Most recently, Minoff served as member of Leadership Broward Class XXXVII’s Project Team Access History, where she helped develop an internal app for the Historic Stranahan House Museum to make the 118-year-old Stranahan House more accessible to individuals with limited mobility, sight and hearing and those living with learning or developmental disabilities. The app enables guests to enjoy a virtual tour of the House with use of an iPad provided by the Museum, offering a fully immersive and comprehensive guide in 200 languages with closed captioning. Collectively, Minoff’s team helped secure services and funding for the app’s development and rollout valued at more than $100,000.
