MENTORSHIP PROGRAM


NAIOP South Florida is pleased to offer our annual Mentorship Program. This initiative gives rising stars (mentees/Developing Leaders) valuable opportunities for personal and professional growth through one-to-one topics-based learning sessions with industry thought leaders. Mentees may select and meet with mentors from a wide variety of sectors to broadening their industry knowledge and expand their networks."

Developing Leaders:


Take advantage of this opportunity to benefit from the knowledge, guidance and ideas willingly shared by the program mentors.  NAIOP South Florida's Mentorship Program provides a special forum for personal and professional growth through focused, one‐on‐one learning sessions with accomplished professionals in the industry.


Many of the mentors in the program will be known to the mentees by reputation. And every participating Developing Leader will have an equal chance to book a mentorship session with any mentor, starting on a date announced by the program administrator.


Typically, a mentorship session is 60 minutes in length. That hour is a unique and rare time in which the mentor’s undivided attention is focused on the mentee’s discussion topics. For the mentee, it’s a learning and relationship opportunity possibly unequaled in any other business setting.

Mentors:


Mentors gain as much as they give. This non-traditional style of mentoring facilitates a true two-way exchange, which is a big reason 70-80% of mentors in this program model contribute their time year to year. They enjoy the chance to share their experiences and insights comfortably and conversationally while also learning from the Developing Leaders with whom they meet. The sessions are a meaningful opportunity to hear how the rising talent in the industry sees the future of commercial real estate.
